Warm welcome and luxury

We chose their four poster room for our romantic weekend away, and we weren't remotely disappointed. We ordered a bottle of wine for our room and as requested, it was waiting for us when we arrived. We loved that you could have fresh milk for your tea and coffee in the room (organic tea I might add!) The bed was so cozy we were reluctant to leave it but the temptation of a bubble bath in the huge tub was too much. The owners, Javed and Barbara, were so friendly and so accomodating. They made us feel right at home. After a day of wandering around such a magical little town, we settled into the lounge with a glass of wine before dinner in their restaurant. I have to say, the food is to die for. It's simple but excellent, and the presentation makes you feel like you're eating a la carte even if it is just a simple risotto.

Unique Quality: We loved the fact that even though we were in a 16th century building we could watch a DVD on a flat panel screen. Unfortunately we forgot our iPod but we could have listened to it since their radio has a docking station (pretty cool!).

Overall it was just a wonderful, relaxing experience and not only would we recommend it, but we definitely want to stay there again ourselves. :)
