Feast your eyes..
by marsistanbul
Situated at the mouth of the Thames Estuary,Southend's prized foreshore supports a wealth of habitats and wildlife and is an internationally import site for migrating birds.
Its wildlife is best viewed from one of the many vantage points along the seafont, where telescopes and information points will help you discover more. For equally spectacular views, take a trip on one of the pleasure boats departing from the Pier Head to complete the perfect picture of the famous foreshore..

I was born here

"Growing up"
Southend for me is home base. What ever goes on my family lives here. Mum, Dad, Sister and my Brother lives nearby in Bracknall. A great place to live, great bars, nightclubs, 7 miles of golden coast, and the longest pleasure pier in the world. Adventure Island is a great attraction and we were voted the best place to retire in England. Not sure if that's a good things.
I've only just got a digi camera so I'll attach photos later of the best Southend bits.
