I am reminded of the old joke :
"What do you call one of those little boxes attached to a sky satellite dish ?"
Answer "A council house"
Here the joke would run :
"What do you call a dilapidated shed at the bottom of a golf course?"
The hotel to be fair, is a reasonable 3-star place but everything looks just a little bit past it's sell by date. Carpets and paintwork have seen better days, plumbing is on the medieval side and reception have never heard of the words ' customer service'
On the other hand the gravel on the drive makes a nice crunch when you park the Bentley and the golf course sets of the view to a tee.
A word of warning : despite the address it can take a good 20 minutes or more to get to the airport from here in the morning.
Directions: West of Harlow, on the main road - be careful !
