Near Stansted airport
This hotel is in dire need for a renovation! The room was dated, the choice of TV channels abyssmal (not even the Freeview channels!), the bathroom tap was falling apart!
£8 charge for parking, even when you stay at the hotel (otherwise a whopping £25!)
Continental breakfast from 5am, cooked brakfast from 6:30am
Not good value unless you get a special deal on the rate (we paid £47).
Unique Quality: Breakfast (only continental due to our early departure time) was good with a good choice of things to eat and good quality orange juice.
Staff was polite and helpful.

Parking at a Discount
Stayed here for just the one night with an early morning flight so the hotel was more than adequate. Room was tidy and comfortable. Reception staff were polite. Due to short stay unable to rate the food.
The hotel is 10 minutes by shuttle bus from London Stansted Airport; fee is £2 per adult return journey, payable at hotel reception.
I left my car here whilst I was away for three days and paid the residents fee for my first night of £5, plus the public daily rate of £16 per night.

Convneient Location
We normally use this hotel as it is conveniently located near to the airport. There is a shuttle service to and from the airport every half an hour and this is handy and saves taxi fares.
There is a good bar and they serve an excellent selection of meals There is also a restaurant although I have not eaten in there.
The rooms are not big but they have all you could want .

Tea and Coffee making facilities.
There is also a fitness centre in the hotel if you have the energy for that sort of thing.
Some tariffs also include car parking for up to 15 days.
It is not the prettiest of places to stay though!
Unique Quality: A nice way to start a holiday if travelling on an early morning fight.

What you would expect
Usual Hilton features and they will look after your car while you are away. On the airport grounds but still need a complimentary transfer to take you to the terminus.
