England. This was the first photo taken by me ! 4 of us in car went up to the hill of the tower but it was closed because it was just after 6 pm ! Still, we managed to sneek in (we climbed the fence !) to be closer to the tower...

England. this is the view infront of the tower ! Very breath-takingly nice !
It's told that on a bright sunny day, we could see 12 counties in this region alone !
The views encompass the Vales of Evesham and Gloucester. On a clear day you may also see across the Severn Valley as far as the Welsh mountains and beyond.
I didn't know how many counties I could see from that view that I took though...

England. This was taken by me from another angle.
There are some traces of wells or maybe pits, left abandoned in the area...
Thatched Roofs - Not a Dead Art
by CdnJane
I could be in trouble for putting this in Broadway, because I am not 100% certain that this is where I took the picture. However, what caught my eye was the newly-thatched roof on the shop. I had seen some men, years before in Stratford, thatching a roof but while I didnt see this being thatched or re-thatched, it was obviously newly done. This is one of those building arts that I am glad has not fallen by the wayside. I am sure that the thatchers are becoming fewer and fewer, but that fact that some still are practicing the art is good to see.
Cotswold Way
by lou31
The Cotswolds Way is a public walkway that takes you through various parts of the Cotswolds. A starting point is in Broadway along High Street.
Unfortuneately time and weather stopped me from going very far along it but I took a few good pics.
And I met some friends along the way. Lot's of sheep!. Don't worry they don't bite.
I had wanted to get to the Broadway Tower which is about a mile away.
