This is Cheltenham Spa train station, taken by me as I just arrived from Bristol...
Coming here to explore the region called The Costwold !
I was waiting for my friend, Roger when I had the time to 'explore' the station itself !
In 1716 Cheltenham became a spa town with King Charles III coming to drink the medicinal waters along with other aristocrats and distinguished people such as Jane Austen and Lord Byron.
It is now the most complete Regency town in England with great buildings and gardens for visitors to enjoy. Tourists can visit the Pittville Pump Room (open 11am-4pm and closed on Tuesdays) to sample the waters, Cheltenham Art Gallery and Museum and Holst's Birthplace Museum.
