Excellent value for money
We were impressed with this chain hotel from the Holiday Inn family. At £59 for a room and breakfast for all occupants we thought it represented excellent value for money.
The rooms were clean, smart, well appointed with all of the usual amenities such as TV, internet connections (at extra cost), toiletries and a comfortable bed with a selection of different pillows. We were pleased with the continental, cafeteria style of breakfast with fruit, toast, pastries, cereals and machine coffee and fruit juices.
The hotel has an NCP car park next door and you can keep your car there for £4.50 all day. It's across the raod to 'The Brewery', which is a new leisure focussed part of town with a cinema complex and a wide range of eateries to choose from. The Brewery has a lively, youthful atmosphere at night and, if you so wish, I guess you could party till the early hours of the morning with not far to stagger back to your hotel.
Another feature is that the hotel provides discount vouchers for a number of different restaurants in town.
