Second Largest After London !
Inside the church, I only managed to take this photo (showing a cross hanging from the ceiling) because I forgot to take along my digital camera from Patrick's car !
This church is also known as The Wool Church because it is the biggest church in Gloucestershire where the region of the wool industry flourished.
The imposing tower that you could see from the above photo was built in 1400.
There are also some 'treasures' displayed inside this Parish Church, such as :
A very ancient Saxon crucifix;
The Boleyn Cup, made from silver gilt; It is one of the surviving pre-Reformation religious treasures.
The font from the 14th century, etc.
