Novotel: Next to the station
A four star hotel next to the station but close enough to the town centre attractions. The 177 bus stops outside if you want to take a bus in to the town centre.
This is a very good hotel - clean and well maintained with improvement work going on through our March 2014 visit, even to replacing newish flat screen TV's with better ones.
The rooms are plain but pleasant and furnished to a good standard. The toilet is separate to the bathroom and the bathroom has a bath and a shower. The bed was comfortable but the view to the station not great.
Breakfast is a costly £16.45 but can be bought in advance for £10.00. The breakfast was well presented and varied.
Friendly staff who are eager to help and assist. Recommended.

Devonport House: Convenient Hotel
We had a very pleasant stay although the rooms weren't the biggest. The breakfast buffet was awesome and one of the waiters was a hoot!
it is conveniently located right at the World Heritage Site with free parking and not far from the train station to get you into London.

St Christophers/Novotel: Just a coupla of ideas...
As I live locally I've never stayed in either, but I'd rather stay in Greenwich then in Central London. Both are next door to the main train station, so are handy for local shops/bars/restaurants...
