You stay in an old, tiny and nice house, with very little but clean and lovely rooms. The stay was nice, people very frindly only the showers were very small. A place for young people to stay, because they have 4 floors and no lift. Nice place, I liked it.

Do not use e-mail to reserve at this hotel. Not only don't they have a secure site, but apparently they don't check their e-mail. We sent additional credit card information requested (some of which they already had) and the reservations clerk did not check her e-mail for four days and they gave away our reservation. Their response was rude, altho she did admit that no one checked on the incoming e-mail. THeir reservation clerk was curt and rude from the start -- SO if you REALLY want to stay at this hotel, do yourself a favor and call with your credit card information. No one should be treated like this by someone allegedly in the "hospitality" business.
Lincoln House Hotel is the name of the hotel I stayed in some years ago. A nice and cosy typical British hotel located close to Marble Arch within walking distance to Oxford street and Hyde Park which means an excellent location. Very friendly staff and the prices are acceptable (to be London).
The normal facilities for a moderately priced tourist hotel. More British than international.
