Small room, but great location
I stayed here in June and found the location very convenient. It was a 5 minute taxi ride from Victoria Station or roughly 10 minute walk. The closest Underground stop is Pimlico Station, 5 min walk from the hotel. Bus #24 connects you to Victoria Station if you choose not to walk or take the taxi. A few groceries stores & restaurants in the neighbourhood.
The hotel itself was nicely decorated and well kept. My twin room was small, but cozy. It's great for one guest, but somewhat overcrowded when my friend came to visit. All the basic amenities were there: telephone, wireless internet, TV/radio combo, desk, hair dryer, coffee maker, etc. If your room happens to face Belgrave Rd like mine did, the traffic noise isn't too bad. It tends to get quiet at night. The only major noise I had was the guy snoring next door in the neighbouring room. Luckily I brought ear plugs with me.

Hotel near Victoria and the Tate Britain
I booked this through Aeroplan.com as an Aeroplan reward so it cost us nothing! The default booking was a twin room but we wanted a double. I emailed the hotel to request a double instead and they responded very quickly. A good sign.
Location is very good, a few blocks from Victoria rail and bus stations and a block or so from the Pimlico tube station, bus stop almost directly across the street heading to Victoria station, up to Trafalgar Square and up Tottenham Court Road (bus number 24). Good route to get to the city centre and it's a Night bus as well, i believe. Rooms are en suite with internet access, satellite tv, no smoking rooms and a lift. Building is a Victorian conversion but with modern amenities. Rates are 95 - 135 pounds for a double, about average for a good London hotel. Not exactly budget but not break-the-bank either.
Room was very nice, we were given a family room with a Queen and a single bed. Nice, modern decor, clean, large room.
