A Best Western Budget in London
This hotel was a bit of a surprise. Its on a quite street, not even a block away from the north border of Hyde Park. It has a beautiful lobby, and a very nice self-service FULL breakfast room.
My only complaint would be the stairs and their doorways. My door was right next to the stairs entrance and every time that door slammed shut it woke me up! Not impressed by that at all. Nor do the stairs go directly down through all floors, so you have a bit of an adventure trying to walk down to the lobby!! Which, I should admit, isn't that unusual in British hotels.
Unique Quality: My single room was huge!! You could turn around and not bump into things!! The bath was lovely, clean and big as well. Another neat thing is that they had pay-per-view movies! Thats probably the first I've seen in London, at a hotel I could afford.(The movies were pricey, but when are they not?)
Again, I really like the location, it made me feel just a little bit posh!!
