Pleasant, comfortable, good value hotel

Great (4.0 of 5.0 stars)
by written on November 3, 2007

All of us enjoyed staying in this hotel, including my 2 daughters, my mother-in-law (whose hotel standards are higher than ours...), my wife and I.

The location is convenient, very near the Swiss Cottage tube station. Swiss Cottage is a nice and quiet London neighborhood with typical London architecture. I liked walking down Adamson Rd, enjoying the quiet atmosphere, the architecture and the colorful autumn leaves.
The hotel is located in a similar typical London building, very nicely and tastefully furnished.

The lounge has a homely atmosphere and is pleasant to sit in. The rooms are not big, but pleasant and convenient. One word of warning: the hotel has 4 floors, but the elevator only reaches the 3rd floor.
The staff members we met were all young, maybe not all that knowledgable about London but very nice and willing to help.

Overall, considering how expensive London is at the present time, this hotel is very good value (we paid 74.50 GBP per night for a double room, without breakfast).

Directions: On a side street, 1 minute away from Swiss Cottage tube station.
