Londons Greatest Hotel

I had a great stay at the boulevard. Me and my mom had 4 bags(2 large suitcases and 2 large duffle bags) and everything fit perfect(no triping). There was a full sized bed, and a chair that folds out into a bed(this is inside the large double). It was big enough for the both of us. The bathroom was a bit of a tight squeeze but the veiws made up for it. If you ask for a room at the back of the hotel they will gladly give you one, theese ones have the best veiws, you can even see the sun rise over one of the churches in the distance. In the morning you can sit in the cafe and have a continental breakfast. It consists of orange juice, cornflakes/toast(4 peices), with tea/coffe/hot chocolate.
Our stay was great

Unique Quality: If you ever want to go to Oxford St.(a large shopping center) you can catch a bus right outside the hotel across the street. There is also an awesome fish and chips shop(Micky's Fish and Chips). You can get a bag of chips for £1.00(about $2.00). They are delicious! They fill up 2 people. Round the corners(Left and Right) are different fast food places like Mc Donalds, Buger King, KFC, and Subway(however KFC is pretty pricy). Also near by(across the street) is a plaza that has benches and flower gardens. Its a nice place to sit and relax. The veiws and suroundings were great and everything was close by(including the tube).

Perfect 2 week stay

They let us check in at 12:30 (30 minutes early), they gave me a room at the back of the hotel (like I requested); room was on the third floor (no lift, but good exercise).

Rooms are en-suite, a little on the small side - but who goes to London to sit in a room, w/c was perfect for us (my daughter and myself are both 5'2" - big and tall people may have a tight squeeze in shower).

Breakfast is served from 8:00 - 9:30 every morning: it is filling and free. It consists of cereal (if desired), a basket of toast (5 pieces cut in half) - refills if needed, butter and assorted jams, orange juice and your choice of coffee, tea, milk, water and according to my daughter, the best tasting hot chocolate.

Rooms are cleaned daily, reception is staffed 24 hours, extremely safe neighborhood, but the staff (from the people at reception to the servers at breakfast, right down to the cleaning) is absolutely THE BEST!

I have no worries about referring anyone to the Boulevard Hotel, and I will be back!!!

Unique Quality: Air conditioner, heater, satellite TV (10 channels), plenty of hot water in shower EVERY MORNING, clean rooms but what stands out the most, is the very friendly, helpful and the hardest working staff I have ever come across.

Small but clean and a bargain!

I stayed four nights at the Boulevard Hotel last April. The staff was helpful and responded to all my questions before the trip (via e-mail) and my requests during my stay. The rooms are very small (I stayed in a single), but it was more than adequate for my needs. I was mainly looking for a place to sleep and shower. The bathroom was pristine and the room was cleaned daily. I would stay here again.

Unique Quality: Best characteristic is that it's only a couple of blocks walk from Paddington Underground/Train station. Also a short walk from Hyde Park. Very convenient place to stay.
