ONE NIGHT ONLY

We had to stay at this hotel for one night as the hotel we booked had an electrical failure.
The room was small but that may have been because there were three of us and an extra bed had to be put in at the last minute.
There was not a lot of room but the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was nice and the staff friendly and helpful.

This will give you the lowdown on the brunel. From there, take the Bayswater road to Marble arch which used to take me 10-15 minutes to walk. Otherwise there are plenty of taxis 24/7. At the bottom of the web page there is a location map button as well. Have fun and say high to bayswater for me, I lived on Moscow place for 5 years.

Nice road, very posh road, apparently how foreigners always imagine London to be! seems very safe.

Its a short walk from Lancaster Gate rather than Marble arch. The hotel is good though, but u will also find a lot of other accomodations aswell. Have u already paid for it???

Hi

Look the address up on the following web site (http://www.streetmap.co.uk/)
It should show you how close you are to the tube, and the way to Marble Arch. In theory, bayswater isn't too far from Marble arch, but probably 1-20 mins walk (about 1-1.5km looking at the said web site.

I know nothing of the hotel itself

If you guys know other hotels better than this one, please let me know because we want close to Cumberland hotel as posible ( Marble Arch) .We pay Brunel for almost 50 GB money/single bed .Is it expensive or ok ?

£50 seems a bit on the high side for a single.
In the same area the An-Nur hotel has singles for £30
See : http://www.londontoolkit.com/accommodation/bayswater.htm for this and several other hotels in the same area

Closer still to the Cumberland is Paddington see similar hotels at : http://www.londontoolkit.com/accommodation/paddington.htm.
Bayswater is a much nicer area though

By the way, the cumberland is a very nice 4 star hotel but it is having a lot of renovation work this summer

The Cumberland is a nice hotel! I stayed there several times and the only good thing about it was the cocktail bar on Sunday mornings. Anyway, given the choice, I´d stay in Bayswater. Much more fun!
