Decent but small

This was a decent but smal hotel in a quiet neighborhood north of Hyde Park. There are a couple of tube stations within a few blocks bayswater and Paddington

U do also need to sleep while staying in London!

hotel is located in a quiet tree-lined street in Bayswater, and yet it is only minutes away from London's major tourist attractions and business districts.
The tranquility of Hyde Park and the Serpentine is only a walk away. Here you can take a gentle stroll, lazily row a boat or even enjoy horse-back riding on bridle paths.

Hi all,
Did anyone have ever stay in Comfort Inn Hyde Park, Comfort Inn Baywater and Comfort Inn Nothing Hill? Are they good?

Thanks!

Re: Comfort Inn

I don't know the Comfort Inn's around Hyde Park, Bayswater or Notting Hill. At my last stay in January 2003, we stayed at "Blakemore Hotel" (f.e. http://www.abnet.at/hotel-uk/london/blakemore/index.html). It was great there: altough the rooms were small - but this is typical for London -, it is in a great neighbourhood (location Bayswater) and they serve a good continental breakfast.

We booked the hotel over the internet service http://www.ryanairhotels.com and it was really less expensive than normal.

Comfort Inn is not bad, though the rooms will be typically small, but that's London. I do not like staying around Bayswater even though it is near the underground Bayswater cos waiting for the district or circle line can take a long time.

ok.. thanks, do u have any recomandation under the budget 250 GPB for 5 nights?

Re: Re: Comfort Inn

I have found a great website for hotels:
www.ratetogo.com
My friend just recommended me a site this morning:
www.superbreak.com

I have paid 39pounds for a double room per nite in Holiday Inn near Heathrow last weekend.

Good luck in your search.

Hi, the Nothing Hill seems great to stay, I would like to know if it is too far away from the city center (i.e. oxford st.)? and how long does thoes line have to wait usually?

Thanks a lot..

Nottinghill seems quite convenient - one more tube line there in addition to the circle and district line. There's a bus to Marble Arch from Nottinghill, the start of Oxford street for the shopping.
