Cheapest for your own room
It was a clean, albeit, small room in Harrow, which is about a 40 minute tube ride to Picadilly circus. It was nicely kept and the breakfast was good. At £35 for a room (£40 ensuite) it was a decent place to stay. The big downside was being far out (a problem when the tube stops running at night) and the room was about 6' x 10' big.
