My husband and I stayed there from December 4th until December 8th 2004.
We couldn't have picked a nicer place to stay at, the hotel owner welcomed us with a much needed orange juice. The hotel is nice, warm and cosy, we couldn't as for a better place, really. We were given room 14, which overlooks a nice private garden (I am sure it's even nicer in the summer). The room wasn't very big but had everything we needed, like a closet, a table with a chair, a couch, coffee and tea facility, tv and telephone. Also the bathroom was tiny but everything was spotless and nice! I'd definitely go again!
Unique Quality: Cleanliness and friendly staff. Every morning you can choose between English and Continental breakfast served in a very nice room overlooking the garden. It was a great experience!
Directions: Turn right at West Hampstead Tube stop and keep walking until you find it!
I've booked three nights at this hotel for mid-July. There are only 15 rooms in the place, and since July is the big tourist season and the place seems pretty reasonably priced, I decided to go ahead and commit.
Really looking forward to it. I'm not a fan of big hotels as I'd rather have a more "localized" and authentic experience if you know what I mean.
All the booking was done over the internet and I've paid for a night in advance.
Review will come after I've returned ...
