Just in case:
Crystal Palace is not on the 'tube' nor anywhere near it but the website above will give you all the travel options, zones and prices.
There are several railway stations in the area, so check your location on a map. The most obvious route may not be the best.

Visit Camden town, it's got these seemingly endless markets and small streets. It's buzzing with all kinds of people, from punk and goth to very posh.
I'm a bit of a bargain hunter so this definitely is one of my fav places to visit. What I miss most of London is that there's always something to do there, it's almost like the city never sleeps:)

Visit Trafalgar Square.
The National Gallery and The Portrait Gallery. My personal favourite was the portait gallery. Great gift shop too if you are looking for something unusual. I resisted the urge to feed the pigeons :-)
Downing Street

Downing street, hermetical closed to the public. It is at number 10 that resides the Prime Minister of England. Number 10 is even enough to be perfectly understood by every Londoner.
I even found the official website!
You need to make a phone call ? :-)

Ok - I wasn't sure where to place this picture of ominpresent wonderful red telephone boxes in my London pages.
How about this:
if you need to make a phone call - why not use the traditional old famous red London telephone boxes instead of your mobile phone ?
Hope, that London government will keep this tradition and never replace them by "modern" ones !!!

In my opinion, British Museum is the greatest historic museum in the world. Parliament was inspired to found first public museum in 1753, after acquiring the extensive natural history and antiquities collection of Sir Hans Sloane. After adding Rosetta Stone and Parthenon sculptures Robert Smirke was commissioned to build this monumental building. The ground floor is the most impressive in the museum, featuring treasures from Greece, Rome, and western Asia. On the picture - Two Winged Lions with Human Heads (Egypt, 870 BC).
