Absolutly Horrible and Not worth £70 a night
Basically, this place is terrible, stopped here April 2010, its in a right dodgy part of Ladbroke Grove, at night it was gangs and hookers, but back to the hotel, imagine a really run down dive of a pub with a few shady charactors, well that would be a palace compared to this place. Do not take any notice of any of the pictures on the internet they lie, they must have been taken 20 years ago. The stairs to the room look like something out the film 'Hostel' when you get to your room, carpet is half up, wallpaper off the wall's and worse of all very very grubby and very very dirty. The Ensuite basically just means a shower quibical in your room (not in a separate bathroom, in your actual room) The window was bolted shut, it stunk and i wouldnt have wanted my dog to stop there. Now this isnt me being stuck up, i come from a poor family and have stopped in some 1star hotels that cost £20 a night, however they were far better than this place and they have the cheek to charge £70. JUST AVOID AVOID AVOID. not to mention, when the pub is shut you have to get to your room by the fire escape which is not safe and not lit up. Horrible place

As long as you tailor your expectations more to a pub with rooms rather than a hotel (and are getting a good price) it seems ok.
