Walking across the elegant...

Walking across the elegant arches of Westminster Bridge, I could never stop looking back at the golden big guy, strong as he ever was whose voice can be heard from many miles away. To enjoy Thames' view, turn left to go along the embankment where the London Eye, a 150 m ferris wheel, is planted. The Thames meanders through the capital and is spanned by such famous bridges as the London Bridge and the Tower Bridge.
The Waterloo Bridge comes after the Westminster's which south end is sandwiched by the notable Royal Festival Hall and the National Theatre. Just downstream, you will see the thatched Globe Theatre, a 1990s replica of the place where many of Shakespeare's plays were performed in his lifetime.
Tower 8 - current residents

While taking the Beefeaters tour, you can sometimes glimpse a scene of modern occupation...laundry hanging from a rooftop or a bit of a patio garden...
The Beefeaters apartments are onsight. The job comes with accommodations at one of the most famous addresses in Western civilization!

make a pilgrimage down to ST PAUL'S CATHEDRAL, England's Anglican national church .
This was also the venue where the current heir to the British throne, Prince Charles and the then-Lady Diana Spencer were married. When I was there at the time, I had already heard rumors (actually it's all over the British press) about the impending divorce of this couple. Sigh... As you can most probably guess by now, I'm a great fan of Princess Diana. She's not only cool, well-dressed and classy but also had so much compassion for the downtrodden and less fortunate in this society. We pray for more great women like her to rise up amongst us and take a stand in this world!!!
Get a Murray down your Gregory ?
by sourbugger
What are you to make of such a sentence ?
Of course it is cockney slang - read on to find out what it means !
Many people know some cockney rhyming slang anywhere in Britain such as 'apples and pears' (meaning stairs) and 'Merchant Bankers' (Do I need to spell it out ?).
It is however mainly through TV series such Minder ,Only Fools and Horses and Eastenders that many lesser known examples have become more widely recognised.
Every 'Minder' aficionado knows that "getting a Ruby down your Gregory" meant going out for an Indian meal (popular 1950s singing star Ruby Murray providing a rhyme for curry, and Gregory Peck : Neck), and that "trouble on the dog" meant your spouse was calling (Trouble and Strife : Wife, Dog and Bone : Phone).
This trick of leaving out part of the Rhyme means that the possibilities are endless, and many suspect that cockneys often just make it up as they go along to have a laugh (cf Black cab drivers !)
