At the first day the personnel gave me a London map which is very useful for me. The hotel is located in the area near by Victoria Station. However, it takes ten minutes to go there. If you have heavy luggage, be careful. The hotel is a little bit far away from the station. Soap is available but the shower room is shared with other people. The room which I had stayed is very small.
While on my first trip to London (summer '97) my best friend and I stayed at the Hotel Enrico. A quiet Bed & Breakfast located a few minutes from Victoria Station. This hotel was pretty affordable for the two of us and had a nice charm about it. We had a small room on the third floor which had two twin beds and a sink. There was no tv except in the common room on the first floor and the WC was in the hall for all to share. Everything was kept very clean and I don't remember having any problems. The breakfast in the morning was wonderful and very filling. I do remember that if you are going to be staying out late that you need to let the main desk know and they would give you the key for the door as they locked up after a certain time.
This B&B was great because it was off any main roads but literally minutes away from everything. The station a few blocks away was great because there were places to eat and drink and shop and just chill since our room aka prison was quite small. However, we did have a small sink and fridge in the room. We were lucky though, since we were on the third floor the view from our window was of the beautiful roof tops of the townhouses around the area. This area was mostly residential and was pretty safe. Down Warwick way going away from the hotel was a small supermarket and a 7-11. Hotel Enrico really made our London experience wonderful giving us the small town charm in a urban community! I would definitely go back.
