Check-in was an absolute breeze, we were handed our room key-cards, and after signing some paperwork, we made our way up to room 511. The hotel only has five floors which is quite nice, but what was a surprise was the glass elevator we had to take to reach the 5th floor
We were quite impressed with our room, it was on the small side, but we were only staying the one night, it was tastefully decorated, and everything seemed to work perfectly well. We had one double bed and a pull out sofa bed, which was apparently very comfy. The bathroom was barely big enough to swing at cat in (although why you would want to swing a cat around in bathroom puzzles me), but again the bathroom facilities were good enough for the one night.
We were also happy to see that we had enough mugs and tea/coffee sachets for the three of us. We were informed by a message on our TV that complementary breakfast would be served in the reception area tomorrow morning. All rooms are equipped with Cable/satellite TV, with "pay per view" movies, tea/coffee making facilities, hairdryer (although I would have taken my own if I knew how slow this was).
West Brompton train/tube station was actually closer to the hotel than West Kensington. Earls Court exhibition centre and arena was around the corner, The V & A and Natural History Museum were both under a mile away
