 10-18-05: I stayed here because it was cheap. I booked over the internet and got a good deal. The hostel is located a 20 min tube ride (Nothern Line - Edgeware) or a 1 hr bus ride (Bus 82 - catch it at Victoria Station) from central London. Remember that the tube doesn't run all night in London, so if you like to party all night this is not The Place. It was reasonably clean, the staff was nice. I got there early and they were somewhat accomodating with letting me in the room without appearing to bend the rules too far. There are lockers for the paranoid. I never had to wait for a shower. It has a laundry. Breakfast comes with the price.

To get there walk out of the Golders Green tube stop and walk up the hill on your left as you have your back to the tube station. It's about a 5-8 min walk up the hill. There are plenty of cheap places to eat close by and there are grocery and lots of other stores very close to the tube station. There are internet cafes where the cost is 1£ an hour for access and your access code is good for 3 days so if your just checking e-mail or some other short task you can get on and get off for 3 days.
