What can I say - the height of luxury.

You check into a place like this with the greatest of expectations (even if you're not Charles Dickens). I only stayed once, but it was not an anti climax.

A tower block, so probably most rooms have a great view!

Its across the street from Hyde Park, you have Oxford St just at the top of Park Lane, Green Park and Buck House just round the corner....

Unique Quality: Luxury, location, cachet

Top Hotel

The rooms are large and comfortable.

Unique Quality: The conciergerie Anthony is helpful about getting to your destination. He makes suggestions on the highlighted places to go and provides transportation to and from the airport usually 50lbs for taxi..

It has a great gift shop.

Very Faded

Rooms are shabby; service varies from not very helpful to downright rude, with the exception of one concierge. Expensive, especially considering the poor nature of the rooms & service. Some rooms decidedly worse than others; we moved from awful to acceptable ones.

Very much in need of an overhaul.

Unique Quality: Great views, if you're on the right side. Very good location/jumping off point. If you aren't planning to stay in or near your hotel much, this place is OK. Otherwise, you could do better for the price. Wish we had.

One of the best....

Surly one of the best hotels in London which pffers luxury rooms and services.
The rooms are lovely and comfortable and if you're in a high floor then you can enjoy a fantastic view on london (especially at night).
Well i dont think that i should write much about it.... after all Hilton is a Hillton...

Besides that i have no information about more accomodation as i was living in
London and not staying in an hotels (I was just visiting good friends of mine
whom was staying here for a few days)

London in "high" style

We were going to stay here before we decided to stick with that Marriott hotel. It looked really nice though. We may consider it next time we go.

Unique Quality: You can get a room with a spectacular view of Hyde Park. Great location to get everywhere from. The underground stops right there.

More about Hilton London Park Lane

a perfect stay

by A TripAdvisor Member

- When I took my daughter to London for her first time, this september , we stayed at Hilton on Park lane.
I just wanted it to be perfect , and it was!
From that moment when we arrived to the time we left, both my daughter and I had a great time.
A wonderfull room with a perfect view over London, which we were about to explore.
Breakfast on the 28th floor! Great staff!
Good location .
We really had a pleasant time!

Great Room

by TripAdvisor Member genesis_74

We really enjoyed our weekend spent in this hotel. The room was great, with stunning views over London - you could not fault it. We had room service on the first night as we arrived late- service was prompt and the food was delicious. I liked the fact that you could choose to have breakfast either in the Brasserie, or in Windows restaurant. Views from Windows are also fabulous. We found all the staff to be friendly and welcoming. I would recommend this hotel to anyone on a visit to London, particularly if you can get a good deal on the rate like we did.

Disappointing and Overpriced

by A TripAdvisor Member

This hotel is pretty hit or miss with the rooms, some of which are badly in need of renovation. I have had beds that sag in the middle, showers that spray in several directions simultaneously, and bathrooms where half the tiles are cracked or missing. Unfortunately I have to stay there when the Green Park Hilton is full (which is much better). The Radisson Edwardian is also better.

If you have pretty low expectations and get a good rate, then this hotel is perfectly acceptable. If you are looking for a great London hotel experience, try the Savoy or Claridges.

Sorry excuse for a delux hotel.....

Stayed for one night beginning Dec looking forward to our stay at the Hilton but what a big disappointment.

Arrival. When I arrived at the hotel with luggage and various baggage there was no doormen to be seen, so I struggled with the luggage into a very bland and extemely smoky foyer with only a sparten sitting area.

Reception
After waiting for almost 10 mins for a receptionist, (it was not that busy)I would of been greeted more warmly by a cold front from Siberia than the welcome that I got from the front of house staff. Not once did she look up at me or welcome me to the hotel. As I was early to check in I only wanted to leave my luggage and return later. After being told rather bluntly no rooms were ready, a finger was raised in the direction of the concierge, and told to leave my luggage there, Mmm nice

Room
After returning later I then went to check in, got my luggage, which I carried again myself to my room. On first impression the room seemed ok. However I did notice that the curtains were hanging fron the track and they indeed did not even close properly but what was that noise? After looking out of the window there seemed to be a half an acre of conditioning units and various fans all humming away directly outside the window. This would get really annoying and quite noisy. So I rang reciption to change the room and was told it it would be quicker for me to go and get the new key than for somone to bring it up! Oh the joys of a 5* hotel! So back with all the luggage and into a new room on the 20th floor. The receptionist was very helpful with the new room. Well this room was quiet but the air con did not work circa 1972 I think, as for the decoration its badly in need of refurb and the funishings are well past throwing out. For a non smoking room there was a cigarete burn on the quilt, only one robe (no slippers) a chipped bath with cracked floor tiles, grey hard towels that I would not wash the floor with, and the towel rail was caked with limescale. But the Molton Brown toiletries were nice!

Breakfast
Buffet style but later found out you could have other orders. No menu when we arrived. Basic buffet, nothing special quite amused at watching a memeber of staff trying to hide in a tea towel a carton of orange juice whilst pouring orange juice into the fresh orange dispenser. Poor quality of food. Later found out we got charged a service charge! What for helping yourself to a buffet! Staff were ok.

So all in all a 5* I think not, and to think the Christmas decorations were not even up (all the other big hotels were all dressed) All this for the sum of £250.00 never again, a big disapointment

Great experience if you have the money to spend

by TripAdvisor Member lauradelondres

The London Hilton on Park Lane is a wonderful hotel! I stayed in a suite thanks to some connections through my father's work and it was WONDERFUL! Our room wasnt ready when we arrived at the hotel around 1:00 so they gave us a standard room to freshen up in. Be prepared - it is SMALL! If you can only afford a standard room - I would stay someplace else. It seems like the standard rooms are overpriced here for their size and that you could stay someplace else for half the price and the same size room. That being said, it is in a FABULOUS location with shopping and attractions very close! Bus station right outside the hotel too! The concierge was TRES helpful, and got us tickets to Billy Elliot after saying that it might not happen because the tickets are hard to come by. They helped book side trips and gave lots of directions and were very patient with all of our questions. So all in all, if you have money to spend this is definitely a great place to stay, if you are looking for a standard room, stay someplace else!

I haven't Stayed there but my friends did and it was while i was living in London so i visited them there a few times and seen the rooms.... what can i say... wish i could stay there now !
They have nice restaurant and pub there and basically all what you need. The Location is quite good, just by Hude Park which means that its close to all the attractions.
Besides, What can be bad about the Hillton anyway ?

you can check what i wrote about it in mu Lonodn page:
