AVOID .. AT ALL COSTS!

Terrible (1.0 of 5.0 stars)
by written on December 1, 2009

My heart sank as I entered the dingy reception come bar. It was costing us £150 a night. And I expected more. We entered the dining room - with its stained carpet and Formica tables... and one of the poorest steaks I've ever eaten (at £18!). The lack of attention and love was summed up in the seriously chipped glass candlestick in the table which no one bothered to light. The room was fine - comfortable and quiet... and why wouldn't it be for that price! Breakfast the first day was fine - on the Sunday awful - tables piled with dirty crockery. Little food on the buffet - they were even out of butter - in the hotel according to the waitress. The final touch was the £7.00 per hour (or 5 minutes) to use one of the computers at reception to do on line check in. The hotel manager on duty and the receptionist both said oh those computers have nothing to do with us!!! Such poorly trained and unresponsive staff makes one despair, AVOID THIS HOTEL IF YOU CAN

This is the lobby to the lift on the 6th floor. Every where in the hotel is well detailed and the feeling of luxry is felt from the reception to the room.

Unique Quality: Neatness, and excellent staff.

This hotel was very comfortablre and ideal for what I went to London for. A little expensive, but the comforts well compensiated for the money. I had travel to London to shop for a particular item at John Lewis shops, and this hotel is right opposite the shopping centre.

Unique Quality: Services, Services, Services.

Directions: Opposite Brent Cross Shopping Centre.
