EasyJet
by hawkhead
Sorry, it's me again with another Easyjet question.
I have printed off the boarding passes for both going and returning. Is that us checked in?
When I go to the section in "my easyjet" and click the "check in online" it takes me to the printing out boarding pass section.
Again, I apologise for such a simple(s) question - you can tell I don't often fly Easyjet. The last time was years ago before everything changed!!

If you have your boarding pass the system is like for all other companies the same. You go to the desk, show your pass and ID-card, if you have leave your luaggage and go throught the controll to your gate.

+1 on the above response...

Yes, if you have your boarding passes printed, that means you're checked-in for your flight.

Thank you one and all, especially Bazsi79 with your unequivocal answer! Now I know we're all set. No horrid surprises at the airport!!

I was about to reply, but I "can't" or I "musn't" after reading the previous ones; nothing to add.

Just one mention. If you have hand luggage yes just go straight through security and thats that.
If you have hold luggage you go to the fast bag drop off (They have one at Stansted not sure about others) leave it then onwards and upwards!!
Re: EasyJet

Be warned that the 'fast bag drop' is not always 'fast'.
Dropping my bag at Kaunas airport took 30 minutes queuing (this was Ryanair, but it's the same problem with all of them if lots of people have bags), even though I'd arrived in loads of time pre-check-in-opening.
Travel Tips for London
Changing of the guard
by GrantBoone
Changing the Guard or Guard Mounting is the process involving a new guard exchanging duty with the old guard.
The Guard which mounts at Buckingham Palace is called The Queen’s Guard and is divided into two Detachments: the Buckingham Palace Detachment (which is responsible for guarding Buckingham Palace), and the St. James’s Palace Detachment, (which guards St. James’s Palace). These guard duties are normally provided by a battalion of the Household Division and occasionally by other infantry battalions or other units.

Ride a black cab!
by J.I.M
Just as New York is famous for its yellow taxis, London is well-known for its black cabs. These are everywhere, and the thing that sets them apart from most other taxis in the world is the amount of space you get when you're inside! There is a lot of leg room!
Kew Gardens - Royal Botanic Gardens
by dvideira
Three hundred acres of botanical delights grace Kew Gardens, which lies on the south bank of the Thames River between Richmond and Kew in the suburbs of south-west London.
The spectacular Palm House, built between 1844-48, is the finest surviving Victorian glass and iron structure in the country. It was originally heated by coal, supplied by an underground railway from the Campanile, 100 yards away by Victoria Gate.
The "Tube" (London Underground) is the best way to get to Kew from the centre or West End of London. Buses serve those living north or south of Kew (Ealing down to Kingston) and the neighbouring suburbs. From north London, Silverlink trains run directly to Kew Gardens station.

Aviod anything on the tube
by atifkazi
I know its stupid, but people on the tube are really sad, and glum...........Remember these 2 things:
Dont make eye contact..............unless you are talking to them
Dont start a conversation.....you just look weird....and people will start looking at you.
I know its stupid!, but ive learnt this over the years!, Sad people!.
