Hotel Meridiana

I would like to really thank to all the staff in Hotel Meridiana. The staff were really nice, we had nice welcoming, no deposit paid before our arrival, we could pay in cash. When you pay by credit/debit card they charge you 5%, but this is in most hotels in London. On 25th-31st May 2006, we stayed in a nice clean room (#205). They change towels every day, and bed sheets as well. The hotel is quiet, and there is no lock-up time as you have your own keys from entrance door and your room. The breakfast is from 7am-9am, on sundays till 9,30am. After we paid in cash we got the receipt even without asking. The room is cleaned every day, even I forgot sometimes to wash my dishes (from cofee and some food), the did it. The room was smeling nice all the time. It is the best hotel as for price (45 pounds/double room/night + breakfast) and its best location (Kings Cross station just 1minute away). Even thought the hotel is near such busy tube station, it is in a quiet street with a park. You can borrow a hairdrayer and an iron with no fee. As I say - the room, staff, the hotel itself was ever so nice, that we came back to the hotel really tired and we were happy we could stay in such great b&b. Even thought the hotel has so many rooms, the hotel was quiet. You dont need to book a room with a shower as there are nice clean toilets and shower on the second floor. I do defenitely recommend this hotel and when we come again we ceratinly do stay in this hotel! Anyways we stayed in room #205 and I believe it was the one of bests rooms - the best choice.
