Lovely suprise at Mr Orlando's in Hammersmith
This last trip to England I was very weary after my flight and was wishing and hoping the hotel I had chosen this time would not be scary. I was more than pleasantly surprised by Hotel Orlando. It was very CLEAN and secure, and my room was more pleasant than any hotel I had stayed in in Europe!! I liked it so much I deemed it worthy enough for my mother to stay when we came back a year later. This time our twin room had a mini fridge, too, so big bonus!!!
Unique Quality: Not only did I have my own clean bathroom with shower, I have a romote controlled TV, decent bed, CLEAN linen and a telephone!! I had a room at the back which was relatively quiet, limited view, not that that matters, and pleasantly cool(very important to me). The breakfast is served in the basement in a bright, cheerful room that you can also watch the morning news with your breakfast. The meal itself was fantastic. Huge english breakfast, hot, fast and soooo good to start your day!!!
Of course, also, there is Mr Orlando too!! He was so kind to my mom, and asked her every morning how she was, and where I was taking 'mummy' today!!! What a gem!!
