Ideal location

We stayed at the Ibis Wembley as we were going to a concert at the Arena. It is idealy situated.A 10 minute walk from Wembley tube & a 5 minute walk to the Arena. It has great views of Wembley Stadium. We would normally stay at a higher rated hotel, however there doesnt seem to be a lot of choice in the area.So for one night it seemed fine. The hotel is clean & friendly, but basic & very cheap !.For 1 night though,we had no complaints. There are a few restauants in the area but not a lot else, most of the resaurants we came across were indian, which suited us.There were a few others dotted around as well.If you stay on a Saturday night, check out the market next to Wembley Stadium on Sunday morning.Loads of bargains & food to die for !
So if you're going to a the Arena for a night then we would definately recommend the Ibis Wembley.
Great hotel

I stayed here on 17th December after the George Michael concert in Wembley Arena. The location is excellent, only a few minutes walk from the arena and about a 15 minute walk from Wembley park tube station.
The room was really clean, modern and comfortable. Plenty of storage space, a tv and a tea/coffee tray.
The staff were helpful and friendly
The bathroom was spotless with a lovely big walk in shower. There is no bath but the shower is really good.
I would certainly stay here again
Decent and value for money

Stayed here Jan 07 for 1 night. 10 minute walk from Wembley Central station this hotel is new, basic, clean and 2 mins walk from the Wembley Arena.
In an area bereft of decent choices to stay this place is fine for a bed for the night - it means you don't have the mad dash to the station after a late finishing concert!
Try the Arena restaurant around the corner on 307 Harrow Rd for food - nice Greek fare and lovely staff
Ideal For Concert Overnighters!

We stayed here 1 night in February for a concert at Wembley Arena.
We were given a really clean room with a fantastic view of the new Wembley Stadium on the 5th floor. The room comprised of a good sized double bed, some wardrobe space, tv, tea/coffee facilites, a small seat and a bathroom. All were in top condition.
The bathroom is like a tardis and the shower is one of the best i've ever been in! The hotel has a bar and a restaurant and on concert and event days they put on a special menu that is detailed at the bar area. We found the drinks to be very reasonable especially for London. If you are going to a concert though and want to visit the bar afterwards, get out and get back quick as the queue for the bar was out of the door 5 mins after we got back. The bar stays open until the early hours after a concert too which is good.
The hotel is about 10-15 mins walk from Wembley Park station and 5 mins walk from the Wembley Arena. If you have a day transport ticket then hop on the bus outside Wembley Park and just get off when you see the Wembley Plaza hotel a mile down the same road- easy!
We booked our stay though the Accor Hotels website and got a special rate of £37.00 for the room. Check this before you book with anyone else as they are always the cheapest. The Ibis promise means that you get a free nights accom if things aren't up to scratch but we would stuggle to find anything at all wrong with this place.
Great hotel

I usually stay here or at the travel inn when going to a Wembley Arena concert. We got a far better rate at the ibis so went for it.
The area is very close to Wembley Arena and Stadium and walking distance of the underground so its ideal.
What struck me about the room was how clean it was. I dont think I have ever stayed in such a clean room. The room was average size and ideal for a one night stay. I think we were on the 12th floor and had a great view of Wembley Stadium.
The bathroom was fairly small and only has a shower. Its a very nice walk in shower though the only problem with that is the water seems to spray quite a bit on the bathroom floor so make sure you dont leave any clothing on the floor before taking a shower.
The bed was very low and the matress seemed a little on the hard side. I wasnt expecting a good nights sleep on it but surprisingly it was actually very nice.
I think this hotel is by far the best in the area and will stay again.
Superb!!!

My wife and I wanted somewhere to stay over after a concert at the Arena. Having looked at the reviews here, we decided the Ibis was probably the best bet, and we were not disappointed!
The staff deserve a gold medal. I don't think I have come across as many pleasant, polite, and helpful staff in a single hotel - ever.
There is food and drink available 24 hours a day. The bar is a bit on the small side, and can get a bit smoky, but there are other seating areas and the smoke problem should disappear in July!
The food and drink prices, especially for London, are terrific. A bottle of decent wine for only a tenner. Dinner for four, including two bottles of wine, for a shade over £50. They even opened the restaurant an hour early because they realised the normal time of 6pm didn't give enough time for concert-goers to eat, as doors opened at 6.30pm, and most residents were headed to the same place.
The decor is modern and clean. The room had air conditioning. The bathroom is a self contained 'pod' design which doesn't encroach on the room space yet has a huge walk-in shower. The bed was large and comfortable, although you only get one pillow each (a favourite gripe of mine!).
The description on the Accor hotels web page said no parking available. In fact there are some spaces at the rear, but they quickly get booked, so call the hotel direct as soon as you have made your reservation.
There is a nearby public car park, which has an ominous note about cars left overnight being removed, including those of Ibis residents. We took the chance, and didn't have a problem. It was £15. However, I'm not sure that a busy weekday would be as simple. The alternative shoppers' car park works out at £25.
If you get a chance, and are staying on a Saturday night, take a stroll to the Sunday Market. Large, noisy, and colourful, and some very interesting food stalls. Great experience.
If we go to Wembley again then we will definitely be staying here!
Great after check in problems
by TripAdvisor Member MrsControlFreak
Couldn't fault the hotel at all - good room, great shower, breakfast v good value. The only problem was at check in when although we had booked online for 2 adults and a child they said there were no rooms for 3 available. The man behind the desk was very unwilling to resolve the problem for me but seemed to resolve it no problem for my husband, GRRR!! However this was the only hiccup. The train is right across the road, trains run every half hour into Marylebone. So... if you;re booking a room for 3, call and check that they know about it!

accommodation in London
by Glen30
Hello,
I am flying to London early next year to watch the LIVE Stictly Come Dancing.
http://www.strictlycomedancinglive.co.uk/default.asp?contentID=644
The shows will take place at the "Wembley Arena" and "The 02 Arena". Could someone recommend some B&Bs which are witin walking distance from any of these Arenas. I don't have to worry much about transport after the show.
Thanks
Glen
