Hostel 639

Good (3.0 of 5.0 stars)

Little price, little room. But it was clean and it was in good location. Price includes breakfast. Last day we almost loved our hostel - our "home" in London :)

Directions: Next to Kensal Green tubestation.

Millennium Lodge; cheaper is not possible

Bad (2.0 of 5.0 stars)

This hostel is probably the most cheap of London. It's easy reachable by the underground.
The breakfast is not very special.
But some rooms have a shower.

Good Basic Hostel

Good (3.0 of 5.0 stars)
by written on March 18, 2004

I stayed here over new year 03/04 for about a week. The hostel was very basic but alright for the nights.
The only downside was that we couldn't open our windows (which had a nice cemetary view...) so that it got really hot in there... there are shower IN the rooms, which makes it even worse.
Staff was ok, but could have been more helpful at times...
The Hostel has a very international atmosphere with a slight overweight of Canadians... (at least it seemed like that)

Unique Quality: Very cheap, nice bar area with meals and drinks, pool table etc.

Directions: The area is a bit seedy, but the hostel is just opposite the tube, so you won't have to walk far...
