Prince Wiliam Hotel
Hello all!
I was searching a hotel in London and I came up with Prince William Hotel. Has anyone ever stayed in this hotel or know someone who has? Is it in a safe area (Paddington)?

Sorry...not that one. Trustworth Forth downtown wansn't bad and I'll have to look for the place in Kensington but it was quite good. If you'd prefer the hostles are also quite good as well.

Gloucester Terrace. Very close to Paddington Station. Never stayed there, I would assume that it would be clean and fairly basic (if it isn't I hope that you will report back). It's in an area with lots of other similar small hotels.
There's no reason to suppose that Paddington is unsafe. It's busy and cosmopolitan but you shouldn't have a problem if you keep your wits about you - as you should anywhere of course.

Choice of Hotel in Paddington area?
Hi there,
I will be travelling to London with my fiance end of this month. We are interested to stay in area that are near to Paddington station, and have found 2 hotels that are nearby.
1) Prince William Hotel
2) The Hyde Hotel
Any comments on the above hotels? Or any recommendation of budget hotels around that area?

I did stay at hyde hotel for one night about three weeks ago... I paid about 110 dollars for a double at hotels.com, and given the ridiculous high price of everything in London, I found the place to be a wonderful bargain. It was clean and newly renovated, and the staff was nice. The only drawback was that the bed was a little hard for my taste. We wished that we could stay for one more night before leaving london, but we decided not to because the next day's rate was about 30 pounds more than the previous day, so we wanted to try out another hotel that was offered at a discounted price at hotels.com. I would say given the exrtemely high cost of living in london, even 75 pounds for one night at this hotel is a pretty good deal.
