    I Stayed At This Hotel For 7 Days In August Of 2001 With My American Friend Who Was Visiting England For The First Time And To Put It Bluntly It Was "Crap" The First Room We Were Offered Was Right Next To A Hall Where People Were Walking Past And They Could See Right Into Your Room If You Had Your Window Open And Seeing As It Was August And Quiet Hot This Would Be The Case. After Asking To Be Moved To Another Room We Were Given A Much Smaller Room Which You Could Hardly Swing A Cat And Which Overlooked The Kitchens And Yard And Of Course There Was No Air Conditioning At all So When The Window Was Open You Could Hear All Manner Of Noises. One Night At 4.00am We Were Woken By The Alarm Going Off And Banging On The Door Telling Us To Leave The Hotel As The Fire Brigade Were On Their Way. There Was No Fire As It Turned Out But Is Was Not Fun Standing On The Street In The Middle Of The Night In Our Pajamas. And Probably The Worse Thing About This *** Hotel Was The Fact None Of The Staff Could Hardly Speak English And All Seemed To Come From Some Eastern European Country And Could Hardly Understand What You Were Saying. I Thought At The Time This Hotel Was Bad But Having Since Stayed At Another 10 Hotels In Orlando, Paris And Las Vegas I Now Realize It Was To Put It Mildly Rubbish And To Put It Not So Mildly It Was ******* ***** **** Quality It Is Most Definitely NOT.

  • We stayed for 2 nights here and Iike a number of London hotels, you don't really get value for money. The double room was tiny with only just enough room to walk between the wall and the bed. Our rate initially excluded any breakfast but a minor mistake with our reservation meant we got upgraded to a free continental breakfast. Full English would have been about £4.50 per person. To charge these rates and not include breakfast, in my opinion, is scandalous. We did. however, get a free newspaper which was giving away tokens for a Shrek 2 mug so my girlfriends daughter was happy enough with that.

    The location was pretty good. It was in a quiet square a few minutes walk from Paddington station which has excellent connections to Heathrow, central London and the west of England
