This is close to Mile End and Stepney Green railway stations and has Chinese, Indian and Japanese restaurants. It also has Internet access and Laundry facilities. You are able to get breakfast for extra and it is taken in a dorm style room. The twin on suite room is typical university style room small but very clean and comfortable. To be fair it is exactly what you want from accommodation in London, cheap and clean and close to railway stations. It costs ?37.50 a night which is reasonable for London. (as of august 2005). Also think it is only available over the summer holidays.
Opinion of Price: less expensive than average

I spent this last year, 2003/2004 living on the east side of london studying at Queen Mary University of London. Though the east side takes getting used to, I enjoyed the diversity, as well as the close proximity to central london.

Hi,
Has anybody been in here before?
Is it easy to go from here to central London?
Thanks.
Rodrigo.

Looks pretty good, have no knowledge of this one but have found others to have all you require and good basic standard.
This seems close to Mile End tube station which is fairly convenient being on three different lines.
Queen Mary is one of the UK's 'new' universities (that is, it is not long-established).

University accommodation is usually fine. Not luxurious by any means, but perfectly acceptable.
It's not too bad a journey to get into central London: about 20 minutes by Tube. There are two Tube stations nearby: Stepney Green and Mile End, which are on both the Hammersmith & City Line and the District Line. Mile End is also on the Central Line.

Hey, that is my old college. It is not one of the 'new' universities created during the 90's from various polytechnics local higher exducation instititutions. Far from it, Queen Mary's College is venerable institution, at least 100 years old, with a fine pedigree. It is one of the colleges of the University of London.

Moreover, in the past couple of years they built a student village near the Mile End campus which is rented out to tourists during the summer vacaction. It is huge.
