Visit as many pubs as you can find because the more pints you have the easier it is to get on with the 'Old Lady'. Walking forever on my 'bloodie stumps'.
No one knew what pain I was in and I was trying to impress my new in-laws so refused to become crabby.
We actually walked for about eight hours or more.
We did have lots of laughs, especially when the boys couldn't resist posing by the Balls Brothers of London Restaurant.

go to 1. Tower of London. 2. British Museum. 3. Tate Modern. 4. National Gallery. 5. Victoria & Albert Museum. 6. St. Paul's Cathedral. 7. Buckingham Palace. 8. House of Parliament. 9. Science Museum. 10. Trafalgar Square, Piccadilly Circus and Oxford Street (shop till you drop). We stayed right next to Piccadilly Circus, a few steps from the underground, and right in the center of the best shopping streets, I went crazy for the after Christmas sale, every chance I get I just walked out our hotel, shopped at great shops left and right, and still regret I did not grab enough bargains there.
British Museum

You got to see the British Museum. I have always been interested in Ancient Egypt and to go to the British Museum is just great if you share that same interest. You can really wander around for hours in this museum... well I did and I only saw the Egyptian part!!
London road signs
by J.I.M
In London we like to make things easy for ourselves so on a lot of roads we write which direction to look for oncoming cars. It helps you cross the roads safely, but be careful as these signs are only on a handfull of roads. See my "General Tips" section for more information.
