Walking across the elegant arches of Westminster Bridge, I could never stop looking back at the golden big guy, strong as he ever was whose voice can be heard from many miles away. To enjoy Thames' view, turn left to go along the embankment where the London Eye, a 150 m ferris wheel, is planted. The Thames meanders through the capital and is spanned by such famous bridges as the London Bridge and the Tower Bridge.
The Waterloo Bridge comes after the Westminster's which south end is sandwiched by the notable Royal Festival Hall and the National Theatre. Just downstream, you will see the thatched Globe Theatre, a 1990s replica of the place where many of Shakespeare's plays were performed in his lifetime.
