It has its charms

This hotel is conveniently located in Bloomsbury, near St. Pancras, King's Cross and Euston stations, University of London, the British Museum, etc., and it's priced well. We booked it because they have rooms for five, and full English is included. All that is excellent, and the beds were comfy.
On the negative side of the ledger, our room was on the top floor, with no lift, so we had to haul our suitcases up steep steps; the shared bathrooms were full in the mornings, although it was hot in late June so I showered off the day's sweat in the evening when there was less demand; but most vexingly, our room was not only quite cramped, which I expected, but very difficult to navigate because of an extremely uneven floor. It was like a funhouse. Finally, they charge a 4% fee for using a credit card, which is a little annoying.
