St christophers hostel
St christophers in shepherds bush in west london is a good hostel if u want fun, it has a lively bar. i stayed with my girlfriend in a double room which was private but not a double bed, it was a bunk, it was also en-suite. i thought this place was ok, cant remember the price but around £40 for the room. they have other hostels located in london and elsewhere in the uk.

Stay in Greenwich
Greenwich is a very nice area for living. St Christopher's, Greenwich is a simple hostel and satisfactory for their price (for London!). But they serve breakfast in the bar and it's very smoky :-(. And it would be better for them to buy a dishwasher - the glasses were not very clean.
