    The world's smallest hotel room

    by

When we booked this hotel we had absolutely no idea that it would be the smallest hotel room that we had ever booked into. The websites that you'll find it on are not exactly accurate. Of course it should not have been a surprise considering that 1) Wimbledon was rained out every day that week and 2) it was in London and was surprisingly cheap. Live and learn! Despite the claustrophobia of the room (the window had to be kept open to circulate air and the room could not have been more than 8 feet across total) and the obvious added on bathroom that took up a good 1/2 of the room since we were just coming back to the room to sleep after a hard night at the pubs it wasn't bad. Of course the Russian woman at the front desk demanding cash up front did not inspire confidence but next time we'll know better!

  • Brilliant value B&B in London

    by

This little b&b is a few minutes walk from Buckingham Palace. I found the Belgravia Hotel on the internet. Price for a double room is very reasonable and it's very clean and modern decoration. Staff really helpful and they give a nice big, hot breakfast. Highly recommended for those on budget but looking for something comfortable. You can visit their website www.belgraviahotel.com.
    Definitely go back again.

Unique Quality: Very clean, very comfortable and fresh modern feel. Free fast internet.

    Directions: Victoria

Please Help Heathrow Airport to Sheraton Belgravia Hotel

by Jane1888

The address of the hotel is 20 Chesham Place, London. Appreciate your help for the public transit directions.

We will be taking Virgin train to Liverpool, what is the closest train station to Belgraiva hotel? Thank you.

This page has all transport links from Heathrow:

http://www.londontoolkit.com/travel/heathrow.htm

Choose which best suits your convenience and budget. Most straightforward is to take the Tube straight through on the Piccadilly Line to Knightsbridge, but then you'll have to walk.

From Victoria or Paddington you will need to take taxi, tube or bus to your hotel. This link will give you all the options and details (and maps too):

http://journeyplanner.tfl.gov.uk/user/XSLT_TRIP_REQUEST2?language=en

Make sure you click the 'address' button for 'Chesham Place' when you search, as it is neither station nor bus stop.

The Liverpool train will (I think) go from London Euston. Check your train time/day on www.nationalrail.co.uk; this will tell you exactly which station you need. Either get a taxi, or use the journey planner above to see your options (which involve either walking a bit or changing from bus to Tube).

You can take the London Underground to Knightsbridge, then get a taxi or walk the 600m to your hotel.
Less crowded and just as cheap is the National Express coach to London Victoria Coach Station which is also about 600-700m from your hotel.
