Elegant, 42 room hotel, handy for Notting Hill and the West End. Kind of charming, but reception staff rather snooty and dare I say, totally sexist! Breakfast really not up to scratch, hotel offered us free glasses of champagne to compensate, but way too many cock-ups for the class of accomodation.
Still, location is everything darling and the Halcyon offers slightly kitch, clean and somewhat luxurious space in the right place and it has a very well stocked and popular bar!
Directions: Holland Park, very handy for Notting Hill.
