After a red-eye, we arrived in the 2nd smallest room on Earth. Sadly, we unpacked before discovering the rug by the bathroom was soaked; mold and mildew grew up the wall and door. We called the front desk and, after repacking, were moved to THE smallest room on Earth. We spent 3 days here, with a broken AC (in August), until a large slate tile fell off the wall, nearly striking my daughter's foot, leaving shards all over. And I won't even mention the pile of garbage outside the window. After maintenance staff didn't show up AGAIN, we packed and moved again.
Room 3 was called the best, and we didn't have to climb over the bed to get to the bathroom, so I guess that counts for something. And this AC did work - thank goodness.
To compensate for our "inconvenience", the manager offered dinner in the hotel restaurant that was closed for dinner the entire time we were there. HUH?
The front desk staff were helpful, but that doesn't make up for the disaster that this hotel is.
Unique Quality: The location is great, just around the corner from Kilburn Park Underground. Bus stop and Tesco (a market) are across the street. Dozens of restaurants of all calibre line the Kilbrun High Rd.
