What to do before washing your hands
I had an early morning coach to catch and decided to spend the night before in Victoria, close to the coach station. The location is very good and the staff at reception were friendly and efficient.
My single room was small and the bathroom was the tiniest I have ever seen! About one square meter, with a tiny sink,a tiny shower and a toilet. The shower was turned on by the taps on the sink. There was nothing between the shower and the rest of the bathroom, so when I wanted to wash my hands the shower started and water was running on the floor.
Some experience, I can tell you.
Simply washing my hands meant:
Taking off my shoes and socks first, rolling up my jeans to prevent getting them wet.Making sure that no bag was on the floor next to the bathroom door.
Then hurry, because the water from the shower was running into the room. It was all one level.
I was ok for one night, but I decided to stay in Bayswater again the next time.

DO NOT STAY HERE
We didn't get to stay there because they cancelled our reservation and offered no help in finding other accomadations. Evidently, according to the hotel we finally found, the Victoria Inn overbooks regularly and then just puts the overbooked guests out on the street.
This is not a fancy hotel, but we like to stay at small, family-run places when possible, but this place was not up to standards.It was more of a 2 star hotel and the people there were very rude.
