Unfortunately I dont drink, but theis hotel bar was spectacular. Within minutes of taking this picture the whole place was filled up. Apparently, there was to be a party that night being a saturday.

The receptionists ware highly professional. When I arrived this hotel, the number of clients were numerous, but within few minutes, it was my turn, and I was attended to within seconds.

It was lovely, seeing the reception of this hotel, having walked all the way from the train station..By Choice....For a long time, I have not seen such efficiency in receiving guest. I was at Holiday Inn at Brent Cross, and I specifically asked for another Holiday Inn at Preston.
What stood Holiday Inn out, is the Services that the customer get.They have staff which are well trained. Sometimes, you might think, that, they are conducting their final practical examinations.

I have to express the difference between the French breakfast and that of the Brits. I trully enjoyed the british buffet when compared to most French hotels I put up. But this is a personal opinion, as a friend has commented that she would never go on this type of diet. On this occassion, the place was being used for a getogether which added colour to my arrival at this hotel. This modern about 20 story-hotel is wonderful near/downtown located and close to any popular places. Within a half of a mile one can walk to any spots and major museums/attractions. Vehicles/cabs aren't needed.
This fantastic skyliner of a hotel offers great views on the town of Manchester though it's located on a busy main road in a rather grey landscape.
The simple but nice, clean and lightful rooms are large and so are the windows. Coffee/maker + powder are provided. TV as well. Continental breakfast/buffett is ok. The service/staff is very gentle!!
