Cosy, comfortable and friendly hotel
The hotel is quite an old building, and the decor is in keeping. Its clean, comfortable, reasonable priced, with much more atmosphere than the newer samey hotels. The hotel restaurant "The Alexandra Bistro" has an excellent al a carte menu, again reasonably priced. If staying there it is well worth having a meal there. I have stayed there and have recommended others to stay and no one has been dissappointed.
Unique Quality: Quaintness, friendliness of staff, quality of food and service. Location is excellent for travelling in to town centre, 5mins walk from Metro station. Locally there are fine restaurants, chinese, Thai, Spanish, English and Italian. Plenty of bars/pubs.
