food poisoning, no atmosphere, expensive!
My partner and I had lunch there yesterday after seeing an offer for 2 courses for 10 pounds.
The place was almost empty at lunch time which is never a good sign.
We opted for the sausage and mash (cumberland).
3 hours later we both were very sick and were up all night with diahorrea and sickness.
Very disappointed and angry!
Also for a pub the individual prices of the food are quite ridiculous when there are top restaurants a 100 metres up the road charging less in a brand new modern cuisine environment.
Definitely won't be returning.

Castlefield Accomodations
The Ox (formerly known as the Oxnoble) is in the Castlefield district of Manchester near the Irwell and just behind Granada Studios. It's a 5 minute walk up Liverpool road to Deansgate. The Ox is a really nice pub that does very good food and has 9 en suite rooms. Across the way is the Museum of Science and Industry and it's very close to the city center of Manchester.
