Buy some Cds from the Stone Roses or Ian Brown Ian Brown maybe an arrogant phuck head who takes too many drugs but to me, his music is soo cool. Fools gold is my favorite track by the Stone Roses and Ian's fairly recent album 'Music for the Spheres' is so chillin.
T.V Programmes

Coronation Street isn't the only t.v programme set in Manchester! How many of you remember the ITV one drama about the battling hairdressers? Looks like there is going to be another series as they have been filming again (Jan 2004). This was outside the large NCP multistorey car park near the Arndale Centre.
Parsonage Gardens
by janiebaxter
Parsonage Gardens is in the City centre off Deansgate and behind Kendals department store. It is on the site where St mary's Church used to be, which was built in 1756 and closed in 1890.
Surrounding the Gardens there are still some of the beautiful old city houses that the gentry of the time used to live in, mixed in with the buildings of modern Manchester.
Parsonage Gardens is a popular little green space for a people who work in the City centre to go at lunchtimes and enjoy the trees and shrubs. Manchester City Council has planted some sub tropical trees and shrubs along with the resident Hawthorn and Magnolia.
Off Deansgate on the corner of Parsonage Street and St Mary's Street.

The Weird And The Wonderful
by steventilly about Affleck's Palace
A strange sort of emporium selling weird and wonderful stuff from clothing to books, records, make-up, masks, jewellery, "body jewellery"...
It's a bit trendy, a bit hippy, a bit "goth", a bit "fancy dress"...
Basically it's a place for freelancers, and affleck's is just the umbrella under which you'll find them all. Take a look, it's fun even if you buy nothing. Take a look at this section of their website for an idea of the kind of stuff in there.
