Old Fashioned
Built in the Victorian era by one the area's most famous families, the Swallow Bower Hotel is well located for exploring the region's towns and countryside. Over the years the hotel's original character has been sympathetically maintained and enhanced to cater for guests with both leisure and business needs.
The 90 comfortable bedrooms include 28 club bedrooms which are larger than you'd expect in a three star hotel, with many of the rooms overlooking the secret garden to the rear of the hotel. Unfortunately the décor is a little old fashioned. It's also advisable to ensure you leave your windows closed and secure and to leave no valuables in your rooms.
The hotel enjoys excellent facilities that can successfully cater for both intimate dining for couples, through to much larger corporate events. The friendly and professional staff are available to help with all requirements.
