"Learn to Scuba Dive"

If you fancy learning to dive try

www.divecrew.co.uk

They’re based in Bracknell Berkshire. They are a great crowd and have a great dive social club. My wife and I learnt to dive with them and are now hooked.

We've meet a great crowd of people and get to do lots of social UK diving as well Dive holidays abroad.

"Mounting Biking"

Some great Mounting Biking can be found at the Breackell forest which has some of the best single track in the area.

Farnborough, just to sleep.

by BeChar

Farnborough is 60 km (35 miles) from London and is easily reached by train (35 minutes, 11 pounds). It is famous for its airshow (every 2 years.

I was there for work and the city does not seem to be worth a visit. We hardly found a restaurant at 9 pm and no internet café. Hotel Alexandra was fine (see tip). I think the additional pictures of the houses/street depicts the regional style.

Last week of novembre, the church was already busy with Christmas (tip - local custom).

My home between 1998 and 2008

Farnborough in Hampshire has been my home since 1998 moving here from Poole in Dorset due to work.

Farnborough is most famously known for the Farnborough Airshow which takes place bi-annually. It is also the place in England where the first recorded flight in a powered aircraft took place in 1908 by an American called Samuel Franklin Cody (1861-1913).

Farnborough is a small non-descript town which is currently undergoing renovation and it is ideal for commuting into London.

There is however some lovely countryside surrounding Farnborough and close to some great shopping in Guildford and Reading.
