Blissful isolation
This is the place if you want peace and quiet!
Stayed here while working for a short while in Southampton. A bit far from the port, but worth the drive. The hotel is showing it's age. The rooms are a bit musty, but not too bad, open a window. They are in the process of refurbishing them. Set in the middle of a golfcourse, didn't get a chance to play, but looks nice.
The service was great, everyone was friendly and attentive. Super location for site seeing. Surrounded by interesting destinations, but I suppose all of England is. Pub is nice, food is good. Try the pizza with the balsamic sauce drizzled on it, wow.
