Look around the Pennines by bkathryn
We passed through the North Pennines "Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty" on our way north to see Hadrian's Wall. It actually struck me as rather an area of outstanding hightly modified beauty, but maybe that's just a reflection of where I'm from. It was very pretty and definitely worth a look!
